Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur stands at the core of the 72-acre KL Sentral Development along Jalan Damansara/Travers, previously KTMB's marshalling yard. This development site is strategically situated approximately 1.5 km from the South-West edge of the Central Business District (CBD) of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

Getting there
  By car
There are three main routes to get to the station. These routes surpass heavily congested areas.

1.   From Kuala Lumpur city centre, drive along Jalan Damansara. Go up the ramp opposite the National Museum, which leads to the station.
2.   From the North, go along Jalan Duta to Persiaran Mahameru, and go straight towards the station.
3.   Enter from the left side of Jalan Tun Sambanthan that leads to the station. There are ample parking spaceslocated at Level 3, 4, 5 and Mezzanine.
  By bus
Public buses and taxis have access to Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur or the surrounding external roads such as Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Jalan Travers and Jalan Damansara.

RAPID KL City Shuttle
Thebus terminal is located at the Lower Ground Floor of Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur
- Route R109: KL Sentral - Titiwangsa
- Route R110: KL Sentral–Medan Pasar

  By train

KTM Intercity
Trains cater routes from the North, South and East Coasts of Malaysia. Platforms 1 and 2 have been designated for KTM Intercity services.These platforms are accessible from the Main Concourse at Level 2.

KTM Komuter
The train service operates between 5:30am and 12 midnight at a frequency of 15 minutes during peak hours and 30 minutes during off-peak hours.
- Platform 4: Train from Sentul to Rawang
- Platform 6: Train from Pelabuhan Kelang to Seremban
Both platforms can be accessed from the Transit Concourse at Level 1.KTM Komuter services will continue to stop at the existing Kuala Lumpur Railway Station and passengers may interchange at either of these two stations.

PUTRAline
PUTRAline travels between Kelana Jaya and Gombak. Its platforms are situated at Level 3 and passengers can access these platforms from the Transit Concourse at Level 1.
PUTRAline’s operational hours are:
– Mondays to Saturdays 6am to 12 midnight
– Sundays and Public Holidays 8am to 11pm
Regular travellers can opt for PUTRAline's Monthly Travel Card, which allows unlimited travels for a month.
